Oh my friends we're older tho no wiser, for in our hearts the dreams they're still the same.
When? he asked. When does middle age end and old age begin?
"When" he asked, " when does middle age end and old age begin?"
It took awhile to recover from his question.

The other side of the table.
At the end of the table where we eat there is a collection of vitamins and prescription medications. We used to have a pile of home work and permission slips there, but it's been awhile. We used to keep these sorts of things in the cupboard in the bathroom, but now if we did we might forget them. We used to keep this sort of thing locked up but now that the grandchild is driving it seems unnecessary.

I know you meant well
and I appreciated being able to sit on the crowded bus, truly I did, so please forgive me as I offer this suggestion.
Next time offer your seat by saying
" May I offer you my seat?"
I will say, "why thank you, yes."
It could also be possible for me to say "How kind of you to offer but, thank you- I prefer to stand." Or perhaps "How kind of you to offer but, I am getting off at the next stop."
Unfortunately you said to me "Do you need my seat?" And yes, yes I did.
